CommonWealth Kitchen is Greater Boston's only nonprofit food business incubator and urban food manufacturing social enterprise. We believe that a resilient, equitable economy requires closing Greater Boston's growing wealth divide by promoting inclusive entrepreneurship and creating jobs for people impacted by racial, social, or economic inequality. We help entrepreneurs go from concept to successful, scaled business, with shared kitchen space and equipment, technical assistance, business training and advising, mentoring, contract production services, and connections to markets and sources of capital.
Our standard rate is $35/hour for kitchen time, plus storage and membership fees. Pricing varies based on stage of business -- we have specialized pricing for the first couple of months in the kitchen and volume discount pricing for larger companies.
