    The Kitchens at the Nashville Farmers’ Market offer space for small food businesses to grow their concepts in two permitted kitchens outfitted with a wide variety of professional equipment. Both kitchens offer flexible scheduling and on-site storage options. Rates start at $20/hour with discounts for farmers, nonprofits and monthly memberships.

    The Commissary at Nashville Farmers’ Market is a brand new, rentable shared kitchen space built to help support farmers, bakers, food artisans and more in crafting value added products that, in turn, strengthen the local supply chain and provide diversified revenue streams for those small, local businesses. Overlooking the outdoor farm sheds on the south side of the indoor market house building, our commissary kitchen offers a space to make the products you can then sell at the Nashville Farmers’ Market. With state-of-the-art commercial equipment and ample prep space, The Commissary can help turn your food business dreams into reality.

    The Pop-Up at Nashville Farmers’ Market (formerly Grow Local Kitchen) was founded in 2012 to offer a space for startup food entrepreneurs to incubate their businesses, as well as offer a demonstration and workshop kitchen space for food artisans and community organizations. Located in the heart of the indoor market house, our pop-up kitchen provides a vibrant and diverse line-up of rotating food options for visitors to the market. For Pop-Up Members, the space provides a platform to introduce your cuisine and food service concepts to the greater Nashville community, including potential investors. The rentable kitchen program is outfitted with essential, commercial-grade kitchen equipment and tools to help you turn your ideas and dreams into reality. Ultimately, the goal of the program is for your business to outgrow it and grow into a thriving permanent location of your own.

    Pricing

    $20 per hour (minimum 2 hour rental per shift) with discounts for membership plans, nonprofits and farmers. Monthly dry, cold and freezer storage options available, as well as mobile food unit member pricing.
