Description

Our commercial kitchen is open for rental in Astoria! We are a community based non profit focused on supporting our local food system. Anyone can apply to rent the kitchen and we prioritize partners who align with our mission as an organization. We have tiered rental rates (determined by self-identification), ranging from $10/hr to $30/hr. We are also happy to negotiate monthly rates. Please contact us with any questions. We do NOT want rental fees to be the obstacle that keeps you from getting into the kitchen!

Our kitchen is equipped with: a double deck convection oven for baking, tilt skillet, charbroiler, combi oven, induction burners, 10 qt and 20 qt planetary mixers, Robot Coupe food processor with attachments, immersion blender, Vitamix blender, blast chiller, commercial grade dehydrator, dishwasher, as well as ample processing and packaging space.

Our kitchen can be rented entirely or by the work station - processing area, hot line, prep station, baking station, and dish palace.

Storage space is available during rental period and for negotiated rates if long-term storage is needed.

Kitchen partners are asked to self-identify the appropriate tier based on criteria of income and assets.

Tier 2: $20/hr
Tier 3: $30/hr
