Operated by Wimberly's Roots, a non-profit organization in Winder, Georgia, this facility fights food insecurity by fresh food distribution on their ½ acre farm, promotes healthy eating in cooking and gardening and supports local entrepreneurs and small businesses.

This shared-use kitchen offers a cost-effective solution for starting or growing a business, eliminating the need for significant upfront investments in equipment or property. It is an ideal space for bakers, farmers market vendors, and direct-to-consumer small retailers.

Facility Features:
Open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Commercial-grade equipment: tilting skillet, kettles, gas range and grill, convection ovens, proofer, Hobart standing mixer, prep tables, and high-temperature dishwasher

Storage options: dry, refrigerated, and frozen

Permitted Uses:
The kitchen is designated for producing low-risk packaged foods such as baked goods, jams, jellies, candies, spices, certain sauces, and pickled items. High-risk foods containing meat, bones, or specialty dairy products are not permitted. Direct service or on-site food sales from the kitchen are prohibited.

Weekdays (Monday-Thursday): $15/hour
Weekends (Friday-Sunday): $20/hour
